I was one of a team of copywriters who contributed copy to the launch of Amazon Fresh in the UK – Amazon’s grocery delivery service.  My job was a conceptional role, taking away a detailed brief given to me by the Amazon Fresh marketing team and coming up with punchy slogans and messaging to communicate Amazon Fresh’s value propositions across the website, emails, social, and other channels.

The job also had a localisation angle, as Amazon Fresh had already launched in the states and already had some copy assets that needed to be tweaked for an English audience – for example changing ‘grocery shopping’ to ‘weekly shop’.
