Project Details

I worked on Fireplace World’s content, tone of voice and visuals, allowing the website of the UK’s leading electric fire to stand out in an increasingly digitised marketplace.

Projects including creating the ‘Knowledge Base’ – an online fireplace resource featuring detailed article on how electric fireplaces work, how to identify your flue type, the different types of flame effects available, and much more. I also worked on producing high quality in-situ images and flame effect videos to use on product pages, as well as launching a blog.

I also gave the site a through SEO audit, inserting keywords after careful keyword research, removing duplicate content, writing SEO copy for the home page and category pages, and reporting on organic traffic.

The end result was a big surge in organic traffic, higher conversion rates, and a much smoother buying experience with customers able to find information on the site rather than ringing customer service.
